สั่ง

v. to order, give orders to, command.

สั่งสอน (to instruct), สั่งเสีย (to give parting instructions), สั่งน้ำมูก, สั่งขี้มูก (to blow the nose).

แม่ทัพใหญ่สั่งให้ถอยตลอดแนว The commander-in-chief ordered a general retreat.

เขายังมิได้สั่งการว่าอะไร He has not given any instructions. คุณควรจะสั่งสอนให้เขาเป็นสุภาพบุรุษเสียบ้าง You should instruct him in the ways of a gentleman. เขาสั่งเสียบุตรของเขาก่อนถึงแก่กรรม He gave parting instructions to his sons before he died.
